School Security Officers will be expected to perform duties such as:Patrolling the school campus and surrounding areas, including unsupervised zones.Intervening in situations that may result in injury and encouraging students to avoid unsafe behavior.Serving as a role model for students in terms of behavior, attire, and professional grooming.Supervising the arrival and dismissal of students, as well as during breakfast, lunch, and recess periods.Assisting students in getting to class on time and ensuring smooth traffic flow in hallways.Monitoring visitors, verifying identification, and escorting unauthorized individuals to exits.Alerting school personnel to any emergencies or unusual situations.
